What People are Saying
“Zoë's pinpoint focus and detailed organization of the work has been off the charts. She's been an integral part of keeping the team and the client working collaboratively together to navigate uncharted territory. She has put a lot of hard work and deep thought into the work and her efforts are shining through.”
— Azul7, Service Design Lead
“I'm a broken record at this point, but Zoë is phenomenally talented. She consistently delivers incredible work and effort, extending a level of thought above and beyond expectations.”
— CVS, Former Head of Design, International Speaker
“It’s a pleasure working with Zoë, I feel like she understood our exactly what we needed but gave me a lot of room to explain what I was thinking and was open and iterative to changes. She treated it like her own work and went the extra mile with her own personal touch, pushing the design that much further for us. She took our overall concept and helped give it more foundation, clarity, and beautiful credibility worth sharing.”
— Spectrum Health, Innovation Lead
Companies I’ve Worked With
Origin Story
Let’s go back — way back. Because my story starts before I was born, between the partnership of a world-class artist and a technology-forward, audio-visual designer. My parents were extraordinarily talented in their own right, and together they were unstoppable. They understood the importance of design and instilled curiosity, creativity, and empathy in me from day one.
By 11 years old, I would find refuge from the shattering split at the nearest library, hunched over a stack of nonfiction books, eagerly consuming all the material I could find relating to art, design, and psychology.
By 16, I started my graphic design freelance career, quietly designing logos under the table for teachers and professors, winning nationwide design contests, and dual enrolling every college class financial aid would permit at a nearby art school.
And by senior year of high school, I masked myself as a designer with a decade of experience, sought out top-notch mentorship, and I found my way into design events on a weekend basis.
That’s when I discovered this new term they were calling ‘user experience design’ at a hackathon-type of event. It was on that particular weekend, I had this gut feeling that if I hadn’t already found a lifelong passion to pursue, I had now.
I recognize that I stand on the shoulders of countless people who believed in me early on, which fueled my passion and grit to pave a path of self-taught education and hard-earned experience. Since I landed my first opportunity as a UX designer at the ripe age of 19, I’ve continued to carry the same amount of excitement, curiosity and desire for growth into every new challenge and opportunity.
